Gene Goodson, Funeral Home Manager

Gene became a funeral director after a 23-year career with the US Air Force where he retired as a Master Sgt. He has now been in the funeral industry for more than 15 years and has worked in funeral homes in Montana and Portland before moving to Roseburg in 2008 to serve as the funeral home manager.

Dale Miller, Funeral Director & Embalmer

A longtime Roseburg resident, Rusty is a graduate of Douglas High School and Mount Hood Community College. As a funeral director, Rusty has served families at Wilson's since 1990, and at Sutherlin since 1999.

Andrew Jepson, Apprentice Funeral Director & Embalmer

Andrew began working in our funeral home in 2013. He will further his education at Mt. Hood Community College as he pursues his funeral director and embalmer license. The Oregon native and his spouse live in Roseburg with their cat and dog. When not at work, Andrew likes to camp, hike and do yard work.

Roger Vogelpohl, Family Service Consultant

As a licensed agent in the state of Oregon, Roger specializes in prearranged and pre-funded funeral services and often meets with area residents to discuss pre-planning. He has a warm personality and loves meeting with families. He is an active member of Journey Roseburg. He and his wife, Teresa, have four children, five grandchildren, and German shepherd named Lars.

Nicole Norton, Administrator

Nicole has been with the funeral home since 2004 and most enjoys helping the families they serve. A longtime resident of Douglas County,  she grew up in Roseburg and now lives in Riddle.

Kristina Burke, Administrative Assistant

Kristina joined the funeral home in 2008 and enjoys working with the families. Born in Lebanon, OR, she moved to Roseburg at age 15 and moved to Lookingglass in 2006. She and her husband have twin boys and a chocolate lab. They enjoy camping and being involved with the boys' sports activities.

Fay Alford, Administrative Assistant

Fay was raised in the Roseburg area and graduated from Oakland High School. With years of customer service experience, she joined our staff in 2017 and feels personal satisfaction from assisting families during one of the most trying times of their life. She is the proud mom of one beautiful daughter, Nina, and two beloved cats, Marbles and Tango. When not at work, Fay most enjoys being at home and spending time with family and friends.

Mark Weathers, Crematory Operator

Mark has served as the certified crematory operator since 2012. He is veteran of the U.S. Army and an Oregon native. Before moving to Winston in 1999, he attended Portland Community College and volunteered at Shriners Hospital For Children. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fishing, hiking, water sports and animals.

Tyson Kritzberg, Funeral Assistant

Tyson grew up in California’s Santa Clarita Valley and attended Little Rock High School before graduating from Opportunities for Learning. He joined the Army in 2002, and proudly served his country for 12 years and experienced four overseas tours. During his service, he met and married his wife, Christina, in 2010. The couple moved from Fort Bliss, Texas after he was honorably discharged from the Army to start a new chapter of their life here in Roseburg. His hobbies include competition shooting and racing RC cars.

Gene White, Funeral Assistant

Gene was raised in Kansas City, and served in the Army from 1974 to 1976. Before joining our team in 2017, he earned a degree in diesel technology and worked as a mechanic for almost 20 years. He was a longtime resident of Baker City, but has called Roseburg home since 2005. His hobbies include disc golf and gold panning. He is the proud father of four and loving grandfather of eight.
